Sharon has had a 28 year career in dental health care management, and brings with her to Real Estate, a dedication to customer service, truthful information, and a desire to help clients get the most for their money.

Growing up in Florida, she has lived most of her life in the tropical setting of S.W. Florida.
Most vacations were enjoyed in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, and Sharon has always planned on spending her pre-retirement and retirement years enjoying the beauty of North Carolina and the Tennessee Mountains.

Sharon decided to get her Real Estate License in Tennessee so that she could spend as much time as possible exploring and enjoying this area while helping to introduce our visitors and new residents to the Beauty of Watauga Lake and surrounding areas. She wants to help the local residents by giving exceptional representation in all of their real estate transactions. Helping young couples find new homes for their growing families and by helping empty nesters to down size and find their perfect "nest" to celebrate the next chapter of their lives.

John Phillips has been visiting and vacationing in N.E. Tennessee since 1997, and the Phillips family has owned property here since 1999. In 2004 John's parents renovated and opened a small family grocery store/ sandwich shop called Fish Tales at the Lake, that has a gorgeous view over Fish Springs Marina and Watauga Lake.

In 2006, their strong sense of family and passion for this area prompted John and his wife Cheryl to leave their home and successful landscape maintenance business. However it was John's love for buying and fixing up homes that eventually led him to acquire his real estate license after relocating to N.E. Tennessee.

John has partnered up with his mom, Sharon Phillips, here at Watauga Lake Real Estate, to give their clients the friendly, timely and knowledgeable service you deserve.     Cheryl was born and raised in the Butler, Tennessee area. After graduating from East Tennessee State University, she began teaching at Johnson County High School located in Mountain City. Going from there, she worked at Eastman Chemical Company located in Kingsport and retired after 25 years in marketing.
